Dumb luck… 2008.06.10

So I pulled up to my local Costco this morning to fill up the gas tank. As I pulled up, I was pleased to see the costco gas was running at 3.799 as compared to 3.899 I had seen elsewhere.
I pulled out my costco card, and noticed the screen on the pump appeared out of order. It said something about confguring the system. Guess what.
When it was finished “configuring” the gas was priced at 3.839. Still a 6 cent savings, but still.
Has that ever happened to any of you?

So, I have recently been reflecting a little bit on career choices and how to make the best decisions for my career. And it occurred to me that my de facto desire to return to Austin was coincidentally in line with two truths I will hold to be self-evident.

Welcome. For sometime, I’ve been thinking about how I could join the blogging world for myself. I’ve been blogging about my kids for a few years, but never felt right about including things off topic. That’s where this blog comes in.
My initial thought was to create a blog about something I know lots about and others might find valuable. (more…)
